KiDi is a Ghanaian musician

Ghanaian musician KiDi has detailed the measures he takes to resolve conflicts in his relationship when they escalate.

In an interview on “Ladies Circle”, shared on X on November 29, 2025, KiDi revealed that he walks away whenever there is a heated argument in his relationship.

According to the “Touch It” singer, he believes walking away during a heated moment is the ideal step to take.

He explained that exchanging words in the middle of an argument yields no meaningful results, adding that he prefers to leave to de-escalate the tension and address the issue later.

“In the heat of the conversation, I let you talk. Express your feelings. Express whatever it is you want to express. I’ll hear you. I’ll say nothing. I’ll walk away. It’s the best thing for me. I don’t know about any other person, but for me, it’s the best thing to do.

“…Because when I walk away, I’m leaving room for de-escalation. I’m leaving room for calm, and then, when everything is said and done, when all tempers are down, we can revisit the conversation. But if you talk and I talk, we will never be heard,” he said.

KiDi additionally shared how he sometimes becomes vulnerable and confides subtly in his male friends.

“In the male world, there is a way we get vulnerable without showing it. I can’t go and call my male friends and tell them what I am going through. We put it in jokes. Maybe Arsenal lost a match, and I will slip it there in the comment section that I am going through a lot in life,” he added.
