    Ghanaian gospel musician Abena Serwaa Ophelia has expressed shock following the tragic accident involving Archbishop Salifu Amoako’s son, which claimed two lives at East Legon.

    In an interview with Kingdom FM, Abena Serwaa said that the Archbishop has been instrumental in supporting her ministry whereas sharing an emotional response to the incident.

    “Archbishop Salifu Amoako was the one who made our ministry stronger and larger. After I heard in regards to the accident, I broke down. I could not sleep for 3 days; I had a headache. I saved questioning, if it have been me in that place, what would I do?” she mentioned.

    She sympathised with the mother and father, acknowledging the difficulties they now face as a consequence of their son’s actions.

    “The boy has introduced issues to his mother and father. I felt sorry for them. Folks will query why he could not practice his kids correctly, all due to a cussed son who selected to not pay attention.”

    “I’m fairly certain his mother and father have been unaware of the velocity at which he was driving their automobiles. Even through the incident, I’m certain they didn’t know he had taken the keys to maneuver the automotive,” she added.

    Amid tears, Abena Serwaa expressed her grief over the scenario, saying, “It’s totally troublesome to say let’s depart the matter to God, however that is all I can do. I can not think about what he and his spouse are going by way of. Even the boy, I can not fathom what’s going on in his thoughts.”

    She additional pleaded for divine intervention for the households affected, stating, “I can solely ask God to look at over the mother and father of the victims.”

    In the meantime, the Excessive Courtroom in Accra has granted bail of ¢50,000 every to Bishop Salifu Amoako and his spouse, Mouha Amoako, following their arrest on October 15.

    They have been charged with permitting their minor son, Elrad Amoako, to drive, which led to the deadly crash in East Legon. A 3rd accused, Linda Bempah, who offered Elrad with the automotive keys, was additionally granted bail.
