Ajagurajah says Abu Trica never gave him a penny when he requested
Embattled social influencer Abu Trica reportedly turned down a request for support from spiritual leader Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, founder of the Ajagurajah Movement.
During a live TikTok session, Ajagurajah said he had reached out to Abu Trica to request assistance.
He noted that Abu Trica told him his Cybertruck had just landed in Ghana and that he needed to clear it, so he did not have any money to provide support.

“I called Abu Trica for help, and he told me his Cybertruck had just landed, so he needed to clear it. He said, ‘He is very sorry, he cannot help me.’ He told me he couldn’t even give me GH¢1 because he had to clear his Cybertruck,” Ajagurajah said.
The leader of the Ajagurajah Movement also dismissed the perception held by some people that Abu Trica funds the movement, insisting that Abu has never supported him.
He added that while some individuals contributed to help him acquire a bus for the movement, Abu Trica was one person who never did. He further emphasised that if he is lying, the Creator should take his life.
“He never gave me anything, yet most people believe that Abu Trica takes care of me. Many people have donated to support me but Abu has never given me anything.
“So, to anyone who thinks Abu Trica funds the Ajagurajah Movement, I want to say I have never met him personally, and he has never given me anything. If I am lying, may God take my life,” he said.
Abu Trica, who became known for flaunting bundles of cash, luxury cars and houses on social media, has recently been indicted for allegedly orchestrating a romance fraud scheme that stole more than eight million dollars from elderly Americans.
The 31-year-old from Swedru was arrested in Ghana on Thursday, December 11, 2025, following a joint operation between Ghanaian and US law enforcement agencies.
According to prosecutors, Abu Trica was part of a criminal network that, since 2023, targeted elderly Americans through sophisticated romance scams.
The indictment states that the group used Artificial Intelligence tools to create convincing fake identities on social media and online dating platforms, allowing them to form emotionally intimate long-distance relationships with their victims.
