Award-winning Ghanaian musician, King Paluta, has stirred conversation after revealing that he sometimes spends as much as GH₵50,000 in a single day to support his music career.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with popular entertainment journalist Zionfelix, the rapper and singer disclosed that although he is based in Kumasi, his work frequently takes him to Accra and other parts of the country, significantly increasing his daily expenses.

According to King Paluta, his highest spending days are usually tied to intense work schedules, including music video shoots, studio sessions, hotel accommodation, transportation, and other logistics related to promoting his brand.

“There are days I spend more than GH₵50,000,” he said, explaining that such amounts are common when he has packed schedules that involve travel, lodging, and production costs.

The musician emphasized that he sees these expenses as necessary investments rather than losses. He noted that putting money back into his craft is key to sustaining his success and staying relevant in the highly competitive music industry.

“I invest heavily in my music because that’s what brings the money,” King Paluta stated confidently.

In a bold remark, the artiste added that spending GH₵50,000 is no longer a big deal for him, describing the amount as “regular money,” a comment that has since sparked mixed reactions among fans and social media users.

While some have praised him for his hard work and financial discipline in reinvesting in his career, others have expressed surprise at the scale of spending involved in maintaining a successful music brand in Ghana.

King Paluta’s comments offer a rare glimpse into the financial demands behind the scenes of a thriving music career, highlighting the cost of success in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
