Legendary Ghanaian rapper Obrafour has spoken about the relationship between himself and fellow rapper Sarkodie.
In a video shared on TikTok on January 19, 2026, the rapper revealed that he sometimes feels embarrassed whenever Sarkodie publicly acknowledges him for his contribution to the music industry.
According to Obrafour, Sarkodie is a major brand in the industry and although he played a pivotal role in Sarkodie’s early career, particularly with the song “Saa Okodie No,” he believes he does not deserve such gestures of reverence.
“Sarkodie is huge but anytime he sees me and wants to kneel before me, it sometimes embarrasses me. I ask myself, who am I for Sarkodie to lie on the floor for me?” he said.

Obrafour further noted that he would prefer Sarkodie to direct the respect he shows him to God.
According to the legendary rapper, he could not have made such an impact on Sarkodie’s career without God’s guidance.
“If I had it my way, I would channel that respect to the Maker. When I first met him, I told him who he was and what God was going to do with him,” he added.
