Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shared how he manages to maintain a stable mental health unaffected by social media conversations.

According to him, he consciously limits his exposure to distractions online, saying he only engages with content that truly matters to him.

In a post on X dated October 15, 2025, the “Non Living Thing” hitmaker explained that in the digital era, filtering out ‘noise’ is key to maintaining focus, productivity, and mental peace.

He encouraged his followers to adopt the same approach rather than get caught in every trending argument or sensational post.

“It’s crazy how I pick and choose where to channel my energy. I can go 10 years scrolling past ‘unnecessary’ stories, videos, etc., on social media without ever clicking to watch or read them. I only come online for what I’m truly interested in … try it, it’s beautiful,” he wrote.

‘Back to gari soakings’ – Sarkodie’s latest post sparks reactions online

Sarkodie’s post comes days after his much-talked-about Rapperholic: Homecoming concert in Kumasi, which saw various artistes in Ghana grace the stage to deliver an experience to the thousands of attendees.

Despite the widely positive reviews, negative comments about the event still went round on social media. Prompting a back-and-forth between fans and opposing sides.
