Controversial Ghanaian cleric Pastor Love has expressed concern over the challenges many pastors face in their line of work.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu, shared on social media on June 24, 2025, Pastor Love stated that men of God are often unable to freely express themselves without facing stigma.

He established that many of the accusations directed at pastors are false, adding that they usually have a significant psychological impact on them.

“I have faced a lot of challenges. The job is a very difficult one. Being a pastor isn’t an easy work. Sometimes, I pray to God that none of my children should become a pastor because it is a profession that involves sorrow and depression.

“There is no peace and happiness in this profession. As a pastor, if you don’t create your source of happiness, you may end up dying,” he said.

Pastor Love further debunked the long-lasting allegation that he is into black charm “juju”.

“When I start preaching you will ask me a lot of questions because God is involved. Imagine the number of songs I have written. All these should tell you that it is a gift and not from my mind… The gift I have is bigger than black magic,” he added.
