Ghanaian singer and songwriter Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, has revealed that he engages in intense prayer and fasting before releasing any of his songs.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV on October 9, 2025, Akwaboah shared that his strong belief in God keeps him grounded in the music industry.

According to the “Obiaa” hitmaker, his faith and spiritual discipline are essential parts of his creative process, emphasising that he takes every musical project seriously.

‘Fameye is the only person I share my problems with’ – Akwaboah

“I believe in God and I believe He makes all things possible. In this industry, people do things behind closed and say God did, but they know it’s not the God we all know of,” he said.

He added, “For me, I have only one God I worship that’s why before any songs of mine would come out, I do fasting and praying. I sometimes fast fir forty days, my mother and wife can testify to this. Everyone has what they do and believe in.”
