Actress and television presenter Emelia Brobbey has described divorce as a normal part of life, insisting that it is not limited to celebrities in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview on January 5, 2026, Emelia Brobbey said people should not stigmatise divorce, as anyone can get married and later decide to separate if the marriage is no longer working.
“There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m a divorcee so I feel it’s normal. It’s not only actors and actresses who marry and divorce. Anyone at all can get married and decide to divorce if things are not moving well,” she said.
According to her, divorce often happens through mutual understanding between couples, and it should not always be viewed negatively.
“It’s just mutual understanding for the divorce to happen,” she stated.
