Ghanaian artiste, King Paluata, has broken his silence on the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

Many people, including Okyeame Kwame, have tipped him to win the Artiste of the Year.

Talking about this in an interview on Neat FM, Paluta, born Thomas Adjei Wireko, admitted that he deserves to win the Artiste of the Year.

He used the shows he performed both in Ghana and outside the country, 115 shows and being featured on over 40 songs as the yardstick.

“The thing is the first hit song in 2024 was my song, Odo Bi Ye Bad, and that was when I won Best New Artiste. That means in 2023 I was the new artiste who did well.

“2024 under review was for King Paluta. I performed more than 10 shows outside the country and more than 115 shows… I went to places in a car that had bad roads so I know I deserve the Artiste of the Year Award because I did well in 2024. Last year I think I had more than 40 features,” Paluta stated.

King Paluta also clarified that his song ‘Makama’ was not composed for any political party.

“We have even started the year also on a good note. My Sisi Fia song was not one-sided though. People wanted to make it look like I made the song for some people but everyone was playing the song. I didn’t organise my concert because if I had done that it would have been a sided thing,” he said.

Ghanaian rapper and singer Paluta Thomas Adjei Wireko, professionally known as King Paluta, has given a detailed analysis of why he deserves to win this year’s TGMA Artist of the Year award.

He explained that he worked hard the previous year, producing four hit songs, including… pic.twitter.com/3lmnb5GElZ
