    Lisa Quama, a member of the DWP group, has acknowledged that she selected to not burden her dad and mom with monetary points whereas rising up.

    In an interview on Pleasure Prime, the proficient dancer expressed that, regardless of the shortage of respect for dancers on the time, her love for dance served as a supply of inspiration.

    “Folks did not respect dancers these days as a result of they had been no cash in dancing, however I used to be doing it for ardour. We went for reveals and we weren’t paid, however I used to be extra of a hustler so, I did not wish to depend on my mother or father’s cash. And since I used to be getting good grades, they did not stop me from dancing,” she mentioned.

    Lisa recounted a time in Senior Excessive College when she was punished for dancing in her faculty uniform.

    “My supervisor informed me that Temi needed me to bounce for her, whereas at school… They requested me to bounce in my uniform, so I assumed it will resonate with the truth that I used to be at school and nonetheless dancing. After doing the video, the headmaster noticed it I used to be suspended for six months with my colleagues.” she added.

    She additionally talked about that she now receives messages from former colleagues who need her to encourage the present technology at Ghana Nationwide.

    “Proper now, I obtain messages from outdated college students asking me to return and encourage the children,” she famous.
