Nigerian afrobeat musician Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has expressed his happiness performing with rapper Sarkodie at the 2024 Rapperholic concert.

While performing at the concert on December 25, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Ruger noted that he had always dreamt of performing with the rapper on the same stage.

He also described the “No Sir” hitmaker as a legend and thanked the rapper for giving him the opportunity.

“Let me tell you something real quick. I grew up listening to Sarkodie, and it’s been my dream to be on the same stage with him, and I am happy to be on the same stage with him. You know Sarkodie is a legend,” he said.

The “Asiwaju” hitmaker also called on Ghanaians to continue supporting Sarkodie.

“I love Sarkodie, and you all should continue to love him,” he added.

The 2024 Rapperholic concert occurred at the Grand Arena in Accra International Conference Centre on December 25, 2024.

Ghanaian artistes like King Promise, King Paluta, Pappy Kojo, and Efya Noktunal, as well as Nigerian singers like Ruger, Patoranking, and many others, were also present to support the musician.
