Ghanaian musician-turned-preacher Yaw Siki has shared his stance regarding revenues generated from his hit song “Wope Dodo.”

In a recent interview shared on X on February 20, 2026, Yaw Siki stated that he would not accept any revenues generated from the song if they were offered to him.

He explained that the song is unholy, adding that there is no way he would want to associate himself with something he considers unholy.

Initially, I didn’t believe in the second coming of Christ – Yaw Siki

“I am sure Killbeatz and co. are the ones handling the revenue from the song. If they give me money generated from the song, I won’t take it unless they package it as a gift without my knowledge. Since I am no longer living that lifestyle, it is an unholy song,” he said.

When asked whether he would perform the song if event promoters requested it during a concert, Yaw Siki noted that if such a request were made, he wouldn’t attend the show in the first place.

“I won’t even go to the show if promoters ask me to perform the song,” he added.
