Ghanaian media personality and entertainment pundit Nana Romeo has expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of support creatives receive in the entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb‘s Isaac Dadzie on June 22, 2025, during the one-week observation of the late highlife musician Dada KD, Nana Romeo stated that he does not foresee any significant development in the creative arts sector.

He attributed the stagnation of the industry to partisan politics, which he believes continues to divide stakeholders.

“I don’t foresee any progress because it has always been the same and it will always be the same. Because the problem with the industry is that it is divided because we have NPP and NDC folks.

“If the NPP is in power the NDC will not root for the success of the industry. This is the same way if NDC is in power. So we don’t even pray that we progress because why should I pray for the industry to thrive when it is not my party in power?” he said

Meanwhile, tons of notable personalities, including the Deputy Chief of Staff Nana Oye Bampoe, Wofa 1, Nana Acheampong, Kojo Antwi, and others, were present to sympathize with the family of the late Dada KD during his one-week observation held in Accra.
