Felix Morka, the National spokesman for the ruling APC, claims to have received over 200 death threats from supporters of Peter Obi.

This comes after Obi, who ran for the 2023 presidential election and lost, made claims that his life and that of his family was threatened over a new year message he broadcasted online.

Morka has been vocal about his criticism of Obi, previously describing him as a “serial complainer” who never accepts election results not in his favor. But now he has come out to voice out about the threats he has received concerning the other politician.

Quoted verbatim, “Peter Obi’s allegation that the words I spoke in that interview threatened his life. As I speak, I have documented not less than 400 threats, over 200 of which are death threats, written texts that I have carefully documented and which I’m providing to the law enforcement agencies.”

The APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, in support of Felix Morka and his recent statement, dismissed allegations by Peter Obi that his life was threatened, terming it works of mischief and falsehood.

According to Ganduje, Morka was simply responding to a question that was taken out of context and did not constitute a threat to Obi or anyone else.
