Highlighting his acheievements, King Paluta explained that he performed over 115 shows both locally and internationally.

He also pointed out that he featured on over 40 songs.

“The thing is the first hit song in 2024 was my song, Odo Bi Ye Bad, and that was when I won Best New Artiste. That means in 2023 I was the new artiste who did well.

“2024 under review was for King Paluta. I performed more than 10 shows outside the country and more than 115 shows… I went to places in a car that had bad roads so I know I deserve the Artiste of the Year Award because I did well in 2024. Last year I think I had more than 40 features,” he said.

King Paluta also cleared rumours indicating that he composed his popular “Makoma” song for a particlar political party.

“We have even started the year also on a good note. My Sisi Fia song was not one-sided though. People wanted to make it look like I made the song for some people but everyone was playing the song. I didn’t organise my concert because if I had done that it would have been a sided thing,” he added.
