American rap star Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has admitted that she lacks the discipline to practice Islam, citing her inability to go long hours without food.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the outspoken rapper reacted to Muslims observing Ramadan, confessing that she struggles to stay even three hours after waking up without eating.

According to her, hunger quickly affects her body and mood. She explained that if she does not eat within three hours of waking, she begins to feel unwell, develops headaches, and becomes irritable.

Cardi B said God “knew not to make her a Muslim,” stressing that she does not have the strength required to abstain from food and water during fasting.

She further revealed that when hungry, she prefers to isolate herself, even from her children, and avoids using her phone because of how drastically her mood changes.

Despite her candid comments, Cardi B expressed admiration for Muslims who fast during Ramadan, praising their loyalty and commitment to God. She said she respects the level of sacrifice they make in devotion to their faith.
