Ghanaian entertainment journalist Highest Eri has firmly denied rumours suggesting that she is a lesbian.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on November 25, 2025, she addressed several allegations that have circulated about her over the years, including claims that she has children, undergone abortions, or engaged in hook-ups.
According to her, these rumours are baseless and usually come from people who do not know her personally.
“People say I’m a lesbian, some say I have two children, I’ve done abortions, I do hook-ups. I just said to myself that they don’t know me,” she said.
Highest Eri mentioned that although she sometimes wishes she could provide proof to clear her name, her line of work prevents her from engaging in such situations.
“I wish I could give some information or give some contacts out for them to call and ask questions but then, looking at the kind of job I do, I just ignore,” she stated.

Issuing a bold challenge on air, she urged anyone who believes she has ever proposed to them or had an affair with her to come forward with evidence.
“If I’m a lesbian, then my lesbian partner will change her sexuality. I’m saying this on air that any woman who claims to be a lesbian and thinks I’ve ever proposed to her or had an affair with her before should step out and say it with evidence,” she noted.
She insisted that only men attract her and that no woman can satisfy her sexually.
“If I were to have an affair with a lesbian, she would stop being lesbian. I can never be a lesbian and I don’t judge anyone because everyone has a choice. It’s only a man who can make me reach orgasm and no woman can do that. I love dark skinned men,” she shared.
Sending a final message to those who attack her character, she described herself as a strong woman who is ready for any confrontation.
“I’m a tough woman and if you want to attack me, come prepared because you don’t know what you’re taking back,” she added.
