Actress McBrown has announced that her marriage to Maxwell Mensah has come to an end
Renowned Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has disclosed that her marriage to her former manager, Maxwell Mensah, has come to an end.
In an interview on TV3, shared on social media on December 17, 2025, McBrown revealed that they have been separated for the past two years.
According to the actress, the past two years have been the happiest period of her life.
She added that overcoming both her divorce and recent health challenges has made her stronger than ever.

“I’m happy because I’ve been able to overcome them. I’m over it. I’m a happy woman. I believe I’m the strongest. I want to tell everybody that divorce should never be the end. If you overcome health issues, that means God has saved you.
“Because sometimes, not even money can save you when it comes to health. I’m happy where I am. I’ve gone through a divorce, and it has been a rollercoaster for me. Yes, I’m divorced, and I’m not ashamed to say it, but I did it so beautifully,” she said.
McBrown further noted that despite being divorced from her husband, they are still on good terms.
According to her, one of the greatest blessings from their marriage is their daughter.

“My husband and I are cool. We spoke yesterday, we speak today, and we’ll speak tomorrow. We meet, I go to our house, my in-laws, and everything. Look, my darling, I am a happy woman. We are the best of friends.
“We didn’t go through it like the bitter ones. I was tired, and he was tired. We sat down and said, let’s talk about it. If we don’t meet again, the precious thing you’ve given me is my daughter. You can have the wealth, and I can have her, and I can live forever,” she added.
