Ghanaian MC cum entertainment commentator, David Adjei Frimpong, popularly known as MC Portfolio, has expressed dissatisfaction with some recent comments made by DJ Slim after he received a GH¢5,000 gift from Shatta Wale.
In a series of tweets posted on X on November 28, 2024, MC Portfolio called out DJ Slim for creating a negative impression that could harm his relationship with dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
“Boss @djsliming, woke up highly disappointed, senior! The wrong impressions created in your editorial have the tendency to ruin my relationship with Stonebwoy and his fans. You weren’t fair to me at all! I’m hurt, but we move. God knows my intentions! It’s all good,” he wrote.
MC Portfolio further stated that despite whatever happens, he will always appreciate Stonebwoy for the exposure he has received.
“In all this, I don’t expect Stonebwoy to choose me anymore. He doesn’t have to, but I will always choose him, not because he is flawless, but because I owe him that. No one has gone to the extent he has for me! It’s also okay to show love from afar,” MC Portfolio added.
He also refuted claims that his GH¢5,000 gift from Shatta Wale was a ‘purchase of his loyalty’.
“Funny how some of y’all in the SM camp think I can be bought with 5K something God can help me make in 2 hours? After all the sacrifices I made for the Shatta KIP project without requesting a dime? Some of y’all SM guys are funny!” he stated.

Recently, DJ Slim expressed disappointment at MC Portfolio during a discussion on his ‘Street is Watching’ podcast.
He criticised MC Portfolio, a known member of Stonebwoy’s camp, for accepting money from Shatta Wale, a well-known rival of the BHIM Nation boss.
In the podcast, DJ Slim labeled MC Portfolio a “hypocrite” and stated that he had let down Stonebwoy and his supporters.
