Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Sly King, has opened up about a traumatic experience that almost ended his career in the creative arts industry.
In an interview on Joy Prime, which has since been shared on social media, DJ Sly King revealed that he almost gave up on his DJing career after his visit to Nigeria turned into a nightmare.
According to him, he was robbed during his trip, losing all his equipment, including his laptop and unreleased projects.
“At one point, I had a terrible experience. Three years ago, I was robbed in Nigeria, and after that, I felt like I had to stop DJing because I lost everything, my laptop and all my music were gone,” he recounted.
