Ghanaian Kumawood actress Louisa Adinkra has made an interesting revelation about her colleague Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin and the support he offered towards her ice kenkey business.

Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, Louisa recounted how she was robbed three times during her China importation business.

She said her warehouse was broken into and all her goods were stolen.

Louisa added that the ordeal left her in deep sorrow and depression, almost driving her to commit suicide.

However, she said Lilwin’s unwavering support during that period, and later when she decided to try selling ice kenkey, helped her rebuild and reach where she is today.

She explained that the idea of selling ice kenkey was introduced to her by her brother, and she decided to pursue it.

She initially took samples to set a few times to share for free.

On her third visit, LilWin bought everything and distributed it to the crew members. He later connected her to one of his partners, who placed an order for 1,500 pieces, giving her business the momentum it needed.

“After my brother told me about it, I took it serious. I was on Kwadwo’s set so I took it there and the first two times I shared for free then on the third time Kwadwo said give to everybody and come for the money. After that people actually started buying but that was not even the breaking point” she said

She added, “My breakthrough came when a client brought business to Kwadwo, I spoke to him to convince them to add some to their work. They tasted it and instantly loved it so they made an order of a thousand five hundred pieces and that was how everything happened.”
