Sarkodie is a Ghanaian rapper

One of the standout moments from Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert was a touching tribute he paid to the late highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.

In a video making rounds online on September 29, 2025, Sarkodie paused midway through his performance to honour the late musician.

Known for consistently showing public support for Daddy Lumba’s family following his passing, Sarkodie took the tribute a step further by performing Lumba’s beloved song, “Makro Mo.”

As he performed, the rapper was seen visibly emotional, watching a background display of Daddy Lumba projected on stage, creating a nostalgic moment for the audience.
