Sarkodie is a Ghanaian rapper
Rapper Michael Owusu Addo, known within the creative space as Sarkodie, has shared the important role his elder sister, Veronica, played in his music career and expressed deep gratitude to her.
Speaking at his sister’s wedding reception on December 26, 2025, Sarkodie looked back on his journey and told the crowd how instrumental she was to his rise in the music industry.
According to the rapper, his sister went out of her way to connect with top musicians at the time, including Castro and KK Fosu, consistently introducing him and putting his name out there. He said she stood by him and believed in his talent when many doubted his future in music.

“My sister did everything she could to reach top musicians like Castro and KK Fosu just to introduce me to them. She has been my biggest manager. When nobody believed in my future, she knew I would become something great,” he said.
Sarkodie assured his sister of his continued support, even as she begins a new chapter in marriage, acknowledging the sacrifices and encouragement she gave him throughout his career.
He also congratulated his brother-in-law, noting that marrying his sister was the best choice he could have made. Sarkodie ended by wishing the couple a happy and enduring marriage, praying for their success together.
