Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri poses a thought-provoking question, highlighting the potential emotional challenges faced by women without friends on their wedding day.
On her Instagram page, Kadiri asked if she was the only lady who experienced a panic attack after seeing brides posing in gorgeous photos with several of their friends on social media.
Since she is now married and has two daughters, she later realized she had moved past that time.
However, she questioned how women without female companions often handle their wedding day, particularly the anxiety and worries about who should be invited or whether guests would join them in celebrating.
She noted that as people plan celebrations with a restricted number of guests, images of brides without friends should also be published on wedding blogs to inspire women.
While some netizens shared their similar experiences on their wedding day, others fear inviting guests who don’t value them to their special day.
Below are some reactions,
@eriata_ese My own fear is inviting people who don’t like me to my event. Imagine eating my rice and deep down you don’t even like me 😩
