Former Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew has congratulated the national team for qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The former Olympique Marseille player shared a flyer featuring several Black Stars players in their yellow jerseys celebrating the achievement.
Dede posted the flyer on his Instagram story with the caption “comfortable lead” accompanied by a love emoji, expressing his joy for the team’s success.

Andre Dede Ayew has not received a call-up to the national team since 2024.
Head coach Otto Addo explained that Ayew’s future inclusion in the squad will depend on his performance, noting that other players are also competing strongly for spots.
Ayew is currently a free agent after his contract with French side Le Havre expired at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
His brother, Jordan Ayew, captained the team and delivered impressive performances during the qualification campaign.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
