The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier, which took place on Friday, March 21, 2025, started with Antoine Semenyo’s early goal.

Inaki Williams and Jordan Ayew added to the lead before halftime, making it 3-0 before Mohammed Salisu and Ernest Nuamah extended the advantage in the second half, sealing the win.

The result placed Ghana at the top of Group I with 12 points, strengthening their qualification prospects.

Following the victory, some overjoyed celebrities went on their social media platforms to celebrate the win.
