    Netizens on social media were left shocked after witnessing videos and pictures of the commotion that unfolded in Ghana’s Parliament during the vetting of some minister designates.

    Chaos erupted during the vetting of Minister of Health-designate, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, and Minister of Foreign Affairs-designate, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on January 30, 2025.

    The disagreement stemmed from the Minority accusing the Majority of exceeding the agreed number of nominees to be vetted in a single day.

    The clash escalated into physical altercations, with microphones and tables being destroyed, and the vetting table overturned by the Minority.

    The incident has since sparked widespread criticism and debate, with netizens including celebrities voicing their strong opinions about the conduct of those involved.
