A fashion designer’s dad was compelled to share his opinion about a client’s dress after noticing how short it was.

In the clip, the lady @peaceameh53 noted that her dad had something to say about her client’s dress, given how he scrutinized it while she was examining the work progress.

The corset dress was designed as a sleeveless outfit, with its length above her knees. As she positioned the dress on her body, her dad asked whether it wouldn’t be too short for her client.

She responded, asking if he knew who her client was, but he expressed his displeasure toward the outfit and questioned how a gown could be extremely short.

Netizens posing as fashion designers have shared their experiences about how their parents inspect their clients’ dresses, expecting modest designs.

    Below are some comments,

@Braids🦋🦋 Make it longer then tell your client my daddy didn’t like the length oh so I added it😂😂

@dbrown_001 My mum when I’m making clothes… she behaves like a Jehovah witness inspector 😹😹😹

@T.I.E | BUBU IN OGUN STATE Next time just tell him it’s a long blouse 😁

@be_you_niq.barrie He’s right,a gown is not a short dress, it’s from knee to a full length

@OmogeNaija He wonders if the person is only 3 feet tall 😂😅
