    GHANAsoccernet.com reporter Herbert Boakye Yiadom reports on the performance of the 25 players invited for Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Sudan later this week.

    The squad sees the introduction of two new players from the Ghana Premier League. A few players in the team did not play for their clubs due to injury and are a major doubt for Ghana’s matches.

    Goalkeepers

    • Lawrence Ati Zigi had a good game for St. Gallen in their 2-1 win over Grasshoppers in the Swiss Super League. He had a 7.0 rating after the game.

    • Abdul Nurudeen was in goal for KAS Eupen against Patro Eisden.

    • Joseph Wollacott was not in the matchday squad for Crawley Town against Huddersfield, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

    Defenders

    • Alidu Seidu played 90 minutes for Rennes in their 2-0 loss to Toulouse in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

    • Tariq Lamptey was not included in Brighton’s matchday squad to face Manchester City. They won 2-1.

    • Jonas Adjetey came on as a substitute to play 21 minutes for Basel in their 2-1 win over Yverdon in the Swiss Super League on Saturday.

    • Nathaniel Adjei was not part of the matchday squad for Lorient in their 3-1 win over Guingamp in the French Ligue 2.

    • Jerome Opoku played the full match for Basaksehir against Besiktas, which ended in a goalless draw.

    • Gideon Mensah was involved in Auxerre’s 3-1 win over giants Marseille in the French Ligue 1 on Friday.

    • Isaac Afful played 90 minutes for FC Samartex in their 1-0 win over Legon Cities.

    • Razak Simpson captained Nations FC to a 3-0 win over Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League week 10 fixtures on Sunday.

    Midfielders

    • Elisha Owusu was involved in Auxerre’s 3-1 win over giants Marseille in the French Ligue 1 on Friday.

    • Abu Francis saw 25 minutes of action for Cercle Brugge in their 5-0 defeat by Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League.

    • Ibrahim Sulemana was on the bench for Atalanta in their 2-1 win over Udinese in the Italian Serie A.

    • Michael Baidoo was not included in Elfsborg’s squad against Varnamo.

    • Mohammed Kudus missed West Ham’s game against Everton due to suspension.

    • Emmanuel Antwi featured in Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 defeat to Bechem United in week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.

    • Ibrahim Osman missed Feyenoord’s game against Almere City on Sunday due to injury.

    • Ernest Nuamah came on as a substitute to play 26 minutes for Olympique Lyon in their 1-0 win over St. Etienne.

    Forwards

    • Antoine Semenyo played 90 minutes for Bournemouth in their 3-2 loss to Brentford in the Premier League.

    • Jordan Ayew was involved in Leicester City’s 3-0 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League.

    • Inaki Williams missed Athletic Bilbao’s 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid.

    • Fatawu Issahaku was involved in Leicester City’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

    • Joseph Paintsil scored in his last game for LA Galaxy against Colorado Rapids in the MLS playoffs on November 1.
