A horsewoman shared a naked picture of her ex-boyfriend after claiming he had assaulted her ‘multiple’ times during their toxic romance.
Hannah Bloor, 26, forwarded the image onto a female friend, later alleging that ‘nothing explicit’ had been shown.
But the man, from Congleton, Cheshire, who cannot be named, described how he had become highly distressed after discovering he had been the victim of revenge porn – adding he had suffered nightmares and had picked at his hand until it bled.
In a statement he said: ‘After her disclosure it made me very distressed and anxious of the thought of other people seeing the images. It made me feel violated and too uncomfortable to go out socialising.
‘I have been referred to a community mental health nurse due to the stress and anxiety. I am also undertaking therapy.’
He added: ‘I am unable to control my thoughts, have withdrawn from my family due to being ashamed and embarrassed about the images.
‘I am worried about people in Cheshire seeing them. I do not see my family as much as I would like to. I have missed out on family events, this has caused upset.
‘It has made me question whether I am a good judge of character.

‘I am very suspicious. It has knocked my self-confidence and changed how I view myself. I have become impulsive.
‘I am worried about how many other people may have seen the images and I am finding it difficult to move on and get into relationships. I have a constant fear that this may happen again.
‘It is playing on my mind. I am suffering from anxiety. I have applied for other jobs. I am nervous about being placed in Congleton. Being in Congleton is a trigger for me due to the past relationship with the defendant.’
At Crewe Magistrates’ Court, Bloor – who rides and works with horses in the tiny hamlet of Somerford Booths near Congleton – admitted sharing an intimate image.
She was fined £341 with £536 in costs and a surcharge.
During proceedings, prosecutor Annika Livermore told the court: ‘Police received a report from the complainant due to an unrelated incident not before the court.
‘However, an allegation was also made by the complainant that the defendant had shared an intimate photo of him to one of the complainant’s associates.
‘Police obtained a statement from the complainant and initially the complainant was told that it was a different image to the actual one that was shared.
‘When the complainant attended the police station and was shown the exhibit and the photo that was shared he stated that he had not consented to that photo being taken or being shared.
‘The defendant was arrested. She admitted sharing the intimate photo of the complainant in interview. However, she said you could not identify the complainant on the image.
‘The defendant’s mobile phone was seized and a phone download was completed. On this phone download there were chats between the defendant and a friend. In it is clearly shown the image had been shared by the defendant to her friend.
‘There was also a voice note. On the voice note you can hear the defendant making reference to the complainant and the image.
‘With regards to previous convictions there are none. The defendant was a good character before this matter.’
Bloor, who was unrepresented, said: ‘I just want to apologise for my actions. I regret any distress that may have been caused.
‘I acted impulsively. I suffer from ADHD and this affects my decision making.
‘This does not excuse my behaviour and I accept full responsibility for my actions at the time.

‘I did not realise the severity of sharing the image due to the fact that you could not identify him and nothing explicit was shown. It was out of character for me. I won’t do it again.’
At an earlier hearing she said: ‘I have submitted to police a lot of abuse that I endured during the relationship with him. The image was not downloaded from my phone. It was sent in by a girl basically stalking me on his behalf. There were multiple assaults. The photo was not taken without consent.’
JPs refused to impose a restraining order.
Chairwoman Mrs Susan Taylor said: ‘We feel it is not commensurate. It is not necessary.’
