Ghanaian-American singer Moliy Ama Montgomery, professionally known as Moliy, is not here for unsolicited comments about her body.

The “Sad Gurlz Luv Money” hitmaker, who is known for her genre-bending sound and empowering lyrics, took to social media on Thursday, July 18, 2025, to deliver a fiery message to online critics who have made her physique the center of unnecessary attention.

In a bold tweet that has since sparked discussions online, Moliy reminded body shamers to focus on more urgent and personal responsibilities.

“Hope all of you spending your day talking about my body again got rent and due bills ready. We’re in the middle of the month, just a reminder, much love,” she posted.

Moliy’s post has drawn support from fans and fellow artists alike, with many praising her confidence and focus on self-worth. Others pointed out how public figures, especially women in music, are often reduced to their appearance rather than celebrated for their talent.

This is not the first time Moliy has spoken up against cyberbullying. In previous interviews, she has encouraged young women to embrace their bodies and tune out societal pressure.

With her powerful message, Moliy continues to show that she’s not just a voice for her generation in music, but also in matters of self-love and empowerment.
