The Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Honourable Ohene Kwame Frimpong has been appointed by a reputable International Firm, Global Peace Chain to the position of Global Peace Ambassador for the year 2025/26.
“This is to certify that Ohene Kwame Frimpong is hereby appointed to the position of Global Peace Ambassador for the year 2025/2026.
“The Global Peace Chain has recognised your dedication and contribution to fostering a peaceful society and advancing United Nations Sustainable Growth Goals”
This was contained in an official Certificate of Appointment signed by Kamran Zarfa, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Peace Chain and Muhammad Ahmad, Co-Founder of Global Peace Chain.
The MP for Asante Akyem Noth has been in office for just one year. He outstandingly won the December 7, 2024 elections against Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi of NPP and Chief Kofi Asamoah of NDC.
Since claiming the historic feat, O.K Frimpong has worked wholeheartedly to make his constituents proud.
He has contributed to improving the living standards of many people aside his educational policy which has helped enrolled many students to school.
In terms of social amenities, the hard working MP has also drilled many boreholes for some communities in Asante Akyem North.
He has lifted the phase of some medical centers and schools in his area. Farmers and other business men and women have also benefitted immensely from his good policies aimed at creating job opportunities.
It is no wonder that his effort has been recognised and appreciated by USA based NGO Global Peace Chain.
