Unbeaten IBF #8 junior middleweight Andreal “Bossman” Holmes Jr. (17-0, 6 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision against Edwin Junior Jimenez (9-1, 7 KOs) on Thursday night at the Dort Center in Flint, Michigan. Scores were 97-93 across the board. With the win, Holmes looks headed toward an IBF eliminator against Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin.

The co-feature saw middleweight Joey Spencer (19-1, 11 KOs) score a tightly contested majority decision victory over Miguel Angel Hernandez (9-1, 7 KOs), giving him his first career loss. While facing adversity throughout the bout, Spencer strung together his third straight victory.

Opening fight of the night had the pro debut of Light Heavyweight Kahmel Makled (1-0, 1 KO) scoring a quick knockout of Dominique Dunning (0-1) at the 1:27 mark of the 1st Round.

Decorated amatuer Hunter Lee (1-0, 1 KO) from Windsor, Ontario fighting under the Kronk Gym name, wasted no time winning by KO at the 1:28 mark of the 1st Round over Super Welterweight Derrick Shreeve (0-1).

The WBC Women’s vacant International Featherweight Title was won by Caroline Veyre (8-1) by UD (100-90, 100-90, 100-90) over Gabriela Bouvier (19-14-1, 4 KOs).

Super Flyweight Byron Rojas (29-4-3, 12 KOs) won by body shot KO at the 1:04 mark of the 5th Round over Robin Ellis (6-8, 5 KOs).

Heavyweight Pryce Taylor (5-0, 3 KOs) won by KO against a super tough opponent, KeShawn Jackson (1-6-1) in the 3rd Round.

Da’Velle Smith (11-0, 8 KOs) beat Super Middleweight William Townsel (8-2, 6 KOs) by Majority Decision in an 8-round fight. Smith started early and looked strong. But it was the tough Townsel who was chasing Smith down in the final rounds. Ringside fans voiced mixed opinions at the decision. Smith, who is super young, will be stronger most likely in the future. Meanwhile, Townsel, who got his second loss, still is a very tough opponent for future fights.

Super Lightweight Samantha Worthington (10-0, 7 KOs) easily defeated Jaica Pavilus (4-7-1, 1 KO). What could have been called a complete domination from start to finish, had Worthington winning by UD (60-54, 60-54, 60-54).
