A Dallas Cowboys reporter found himself interrupted by an admirer live on air as he reacted to their shocking Thursday Night Football loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Cowboys lost 24-16 on primetime at the hands of undrafted free agent rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels.

There was a lot to dissect after the game, and Fox 4 Dallas turned to their reporter Jeff Kolb to give his live report on the field.

But while he started talking about Dak Prescott and his hand injury and the struggles of the Cowboys, a female fan approached him while he was live on air.

She put her arm around Kolb and said: ‘You are so cute’, before making her way off camera.

Kolb was left speechless and understandably lost track of what he was saying as he blushed and his colleagues laughed in the studio.

‘I’m being intercepted out here mid-show. I guess there goes the train of thought, right Mike? Back to you,’ Kolb said.

While the incident raised a smile on the Fox 4 broadcast, there was not a great deal for Cowboys fans to be happy about after Thursday’s game, which dropped their record to 2-3 this season.

After the game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was ‘extraordinarily, extraordinarily disappointed. You really do need to get it done when it’s there to take.’

He continued: ‘This isn’t fold the tents here. We are 2-3. We didn’t expect to be 2-3. We didn’t expect this….We didn’t expect this Tampa team to come in here 0-4, either.’

Quarterback Dak Prescott was also involved in a viral video as a stadium employee was heard saying ’embarrassing’ as he was filmed walking back to the locker room.

‘When he said it I just happened to look at him, and at that point he looked away, didn’t look, and when I turned my head back, he said something else,’ Prescott said.

‘So that’s the part that, just as a man or a person, feel free to speak your mind. Just speak it. Don’t coward away from the reaction that you’re going to get. If you’re saying it’s embarrassing, say it’s embarrassing.

‘If you’re saying it to me, say it to me. Don’t go back on it. That’s all it was. I hate that it’s even being talked about, to be honest with you.’

Dak Prescott had a frustrating night as the Dallas Cowboys were beaten on Thursday night

Prescott was reluctant to use the word ’embarrassing’ himself to describe the loss.

‘To use the word ’embarrassing,’ it’s tough,’ Prescott said. ‘I feel like I’m discrediting the NFL if I use that, in particular the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the great Todd Bowles coach, defensive-coached team.

‘The guy’s been a winning coach for a long time and whether he’s been a head coach or a defensive coordinator. The plan, what they did tonight, is the reason for that. To say ’embarrassing,’ I think I’d be discrediting them.

‘But we were definitely supposed to win this game. It was a game we were supposed to have on paper. I think Schotty said it best in the locker room. in this league.

‘You’ve got to win the games you’re supposed to win, and when a winless team comes into your home stadium on a Thursday night, prime time game, yeah, we’re supposed to win that. It sucks, right up close to embarrassing, but I don’t know if I would say that.’
