Hearts of Oak have expressed strong interest in securing the services of Legon Cities midfielder Albert Yeboah ahead of the new season, according to sources close to the negotiations.

The midfielder has emerged as one of the Ghana Premier League’s most consistent performers, with his technical ability and creative passing catching the attention of the Phobians’ technical team.

Yeboah, who has been instrumental for Legon Cities in recent seasons, is seen as an ideal addition to bolster Hearts of Oak’s midfield options.

While discussions are still at an early stage, club officials from both sides are expected to enter formal talks in the coming days.

The potential transfer would provide Hearts with much-needed creativity in the middle of the park as they look to rebuild their squad for next season.

Yeboah’s versatility – capable of playing both as a central midfielder and in more advanced roles – makes him an attractive prospect for the Accra-based club.

Legon Cities are understood to be reluctant to lose one of their key players but may be open to negotiations if the right offer materialises.

For Yeboah’s part, the opportunity to join one of Ghana’s most successful clubs could prove tempting as he considers his next career move.

Further developments are expected in the coming weeks as transfer activity across the Ghana Premier League intensifies ahead of the new season.
