Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have formally initiated talks with Techiman Eleven Wonders for their attacking right-back Farouk Ameyaw.

The Phobians are seeking to bolster their defensive options with the signing of the Division One League’s highest-scoring defender, who netted an impressive seven goals last season.

Ameyaw’s unique goalscoring threat from full-back has made him one of the most coveted players in the lower tier.

However, negotiations remain in early stages with newly-promoted Eleven Wonders yet to give the green light for the transfer. The Techiman-based club are reportedly weighing their options as they prepare for their Ghana Premier League return.

Hearts’ technical team views t player as an ideal modern full-back who can contribute both defensively and offensively.

His potential acquisition would address their need for more attacking thrust from wide areas.

With the transfer window ongoing, this developing story could gain momentum in coming days as both clubs assess their positions.
