Hearts of Oak are reportedly considering a move for Prosper Narteh Ogum following the departure of head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The Phobians recently announced the exit of Didi Dramani and his technical team despite the club securing a third-place finish with 54 points after ending the campaign with a 4-2 victory over champions Medeama SC.

Hearts of Oak are now looking at Ogum as a possible replacement as management begin plans toward the 2026/27 season.

The Educationist remains one of the most respected coaches in the Ghana Premier League despite previously working with fierce rivals Asante Kotoko.

Ogum has been without a club side since leaving Kotoko in 2025. During his first spell with the Porcupine Warriors, he guided the club to the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.

The former WAFA coach is currently in charge of the Ghana under-17 team but recently endured a disappointing campaign at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Starlets failed to progress beyond the group stage after finishing third in Group D and later missed out on qualification to the FIFA U-17 World Cup following a painful penalty shootout defeat to Uganda in the playoffs despite taking the lead twice during the game.

Hearts of Oak are expected to continue discussions internally before making a final decision on who leads the club into the new season.
