Accra Hearts of Oak have recalled their glorious days as they celebrate their 114th anniversary on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

In a statement, the club paid tribute to its rich history since its founding in 1911, highlighting multiple Ghana Premier League titles and continental successes, including the CAF Champions League and Super Cup.

The Phobia club expressed gratitude to their loyal supporters who have stood by the team through both the good and difficult times in 114 years.

“Today, November 11, Accra Hearts of Oak proudly celebrates its 114th Anniversary, a milestone that reflects both our rich history and our enduring devotion. Since 1911, the club has grown from its Accra roots into a national treasure and an internationally recognized institution. For 114 years we have shared triumphs and challenges together, from the glory of the CAF Champions League and Super Cup to six years of unmatched dominance in the Ghana Premier League, all captured in our timeless creed:

‘Never Say Die until the bones are rotten.’ To our loyal supporters, you remain the lifeblood of this club. Your chants and songs inspire our players to victory, and your passion has earned us the title ‘The Continental Club Masters.’ Hearts of Oak is more than a team; it is a legacy passed down from generation to generation, and we honor you today,” portions of the statement read.

The former CAF Champions League winner also extended appreciation to their leadership “To our leadership, we extend gratitude to His Royal Majesty Togbe Afede XIV and the Board, whose vision has rekindled past glory and driven transformative projects such as the Pobiman training complex, modern facilities, and improved player welfare. These investments are seeds of future victories and trophies,”

Hearts of Oak have won 21 Ghana Premier League titles, 11 FA Cups, multiple Super Cups, and achieved continental success with victories in the CAF Champions League (2000), CAF Super Cup (2001), and CAF Confederation Cup (2004).
