Aussies have been left outraged after a homeless woman sitting on a train was forced to give up her trolley packed with her life’s belongings.

The conductor had made an announcement that the trolley needed to be removed before the train could leave Cabramatta Station, in Sydney‘s southwest.

A fellow passenger filmed the incident unfold, with the woman was seen sitting down next to a trolley containing a large laundry bag, shopping bags and a light blue blanket.

The commuter confronted the homeless woman and told her trolleys weren’t allowed on trains.

‘They (the driver) won’t leave or the cops will be called,’ he said.

The woman explained she had planned to get off in two stops, but the other commuter repeated the announcement made by the train driver.

‘He won’t allow it. You’re not allowed the trolley on the train,’ he said.

The woman asked if the man could tell the train driver that she had only planned a short trip.

‘No, because he’s going to stop my train, he’s going to call the cops, and then they’re just going to take you out,’ he responded.

The woman eventually gave up and told the other passenger to take the trolley off the train before calling him a thief.

The train driver was seen in the video checking out the carriage, before the commuter explained that he had removed the woman’s trolley.

The footage was shared to Instagram along with the caption: ‘Not having my train delayed because of a trolley.’

Social media users slammed the passenger for his lack of compassion and for filming the incident.

‘You’re a hero, bro!’ one wrote sarcastically.

‘You see a homeless woman with a trolley which probably carries her life’s belongings and rather than telling the train driver (hero number 2) to mind his own business you grab her cart and push it off the train.’

    ‘Absolute heroes,’ a second echoed.

‘It was like two stops on a non-packed train so maybe show some compassion.’

According to its website, Transport for NSW does not allow shopping trolleys on station platforms, metro or trains.

Daily Mail contacted Transport for NSW for comment.
