    Ghanaian comedian Derick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, has shared a photo with President John Dramani Mahama online, stating that the President has pledged to intervene in issues affecting the showbiz industry.

    In a post on his official X page, DKB shared a photo of himself standing beside President Mahama, who was dressed in a blue ‘jalabia’.

    President Mahama and DKB were captured in the photo beaming with smiles, accompanied with a caption expressing deep admiration for the president.

    DKB stated that meeting Mahama was a long-awaited dream come true, and the encounter has left him feeling inspired.

    “Finally met Daddy! My heart was filled with joy for meeting such a humble, affable and positive soul,” he wrote.

    DKB further revealed that they engaged in a meaningful conversation about Ghana’s showbiz industry, a sector where he (DKB) has consistently been vocal about over the years.

    “Great conversation on our showbiz industry and he’s promised to intervene in matters,” he added.
