Former Black Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah, has lavished praises on Sharaf Mahama, a football agent and son of President-elect John Dramani Mahama, hailing him for what he views as an incredible work ethic.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Stephen Appiah was seen goofing around with Sharaf Mahama in a very hearty and lovely manner.

Stephen Appiah and Sharaf Mahama both had good words to say about each other, with the legendary Ghanaian footballer expressing admiration for the hustling mindset of Sharaf Mahama.

“This guy likes flexing. He looks like a ‘dada bee’ but he is not. He is a hard guy. We are enjoying ourselves,” Appiah said in a video selfie with Sharaf Mahama.

The video has surfaced following the victory of Sharaf Mahama’s father, John Dramani Mahama, in the 2024 elections.

In the 2024 presidential race, former President Mahama, who was the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, won the race according to the results declared by the Electoral Commission. He beat 12 other candidates with 56.55% of the total valid votes.

His closest contender, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the ruling New Patriotic Party, obtained 41.61% of the total valid votes cast.

The NDC has claimed more than a two-thirds majority of the results already declared in the parliamentary race, having won over 180 seats out of 276 available.

Sharaf Mahama is a former footballer and a FIFA-accredited player agent.
