Ghanaian singer Amaarae has showered praise on rapper Sarkodie during her performance at the Blackout Homecoming Concert.

In a video shared on X on January 7, 2025, Amaarae, while performing alongside Sarkodie at “The Blackout Homecoming Concert” held at the Underbridge Annex, described the rapper as the best rapper alive.

According to the “Sweeet” singer, Sarkodie deserves to be honoured for his immense contributions to the entertainment industry and African music as a whole.

“Make some noise for one of the greatest rappers alive. He is the best rapper this country has seen. He is the best rapper Africa has seen. He is King Sarkodie,” she said.

Following Amaarae’s praise, Sarkodie also took the microphone, where he acknowledged the singer for putting Ghana on the global map.

According to Sarkodie, Amaarae always makes an effort to showcase the Ghanaian flag on every stage she performs, and as such, Ghanaians should continue to support her.

“We have to support Ama. She is taking Ghana to the world. You all have to support her. Wave your Ghana flags. You have a beautiful fanbase,” Sarkodie noted.
