Years after their online banter made headlines, rapper Amerado has finally shed light on the root of his fallout with fellow artiste Kofi Mole.

In a recent interview with ZionFelix, the “Kwaku Ananse” hitmaker revealed that the beef stemmed from Mole’s unexpected absence from a planned video shoot, despite initially agreeing to participate.

According to Amerado, he had written Mole’s verse and only needed him to show up and perform it. When Mole failed to appear, Amerado was forced to take on a double role in the video, which he said added significant stress to the project.

What truly sparked the conflict, however, was Mole’s decision to insult him on Twitter, now X, following the incident. That public slight, Amerado said, was the final straw.

Half-joking, he added that he would have confronted Mole if he had caught him at the time, bragging that the entire Lakeside area “belongs to my grandparent.”

Still, Amerado emphasized that there’s no lingering bad blood. “It was all fun,” he said, adding that he’s genuinely happy to see Kofi Mole back in the spotlight with a trending song.
