Sammy Rasta is Kumawood filmmaker, and LilWin (R) is a Ghanaian actor

Following the recent backlash from LilWin toward his colleague Emelia Brobbey, after an episode of her talk show that featured actress Sandra Ababio, filmmaker Sammy Rasta has spoken out in Emelia’s defence over LilWin’s outbursts.

Recently, during an episode of Emelia Brobbey’s show, she asked Sandra Ababio if she had any regrets after crossing paths with LilWin.

LilWin, who appeared displeased with Emelia Brobbey’s line of questioning, took to social media to accuse her of asking senseless questions and exhibiting disrespect and hypocrisy.

In a recent development, some members of the Ghanaian movie industry have taken to social media to criticise LilWin for attacking Emelia Brobbey.

In a video shared on Instagram on August 17, 2025, filmmaker Samuel Owusu Asare, popularly known as Sammy Rasta, stated that LilWin is becoming too arrogant.

He explained that the actor’s action against Emelia Brobbey is unwarranted.

“Sandra, during the interview, said she has no regret walking with LilWin. Even Emelia Brobbey praised LilWin for that. Due to that question, see the way Kwadwo went on live to insult her.

“Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin is becoming too arrogant. He even said something negative about Agya Koo, and that was too bad,” he said.

Sammy Rasta, while making his submission, quizzed LilWin on whether every actor who transitions to becoming a media personality lacks knowledge about the field.

“There are Hollywood stars who are now presenting, so what is he talking about? So does that mean any actor who becomes a TV presenter doesn’t have sense,” he said?
