A United Nations Global Peace Ambassador and Protocol and Diplomatic Affairs Trainer for Word of Life Christian Ministries International Consultium Carbinet (WOLMI I.C.C), a United Nations accredited agency in New York, Dr. Rejoice Wodomdedzi Foli has been reappointed to serve a second consecutive term on the governing Board of the Institute of Directors – Ghana (IoD-Gh).

This is in recognition of her outstanding contributions towards the growth of IoD-Gh during her initial tenure of service on the board.

In a colourful but brief ceremony held on Friday, 4th July, 2025, at the Engineering Centre, Roman Ridge in Accra, the Investiture of the President and the new Board of IoD-Gh took place.

As a Corporate Risk and Governance Consultant, and the WOLMI I.C.C Special Envoy to Ghana, Dr. Foli served on the Council of the Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh) from 2023 to 2025, distinguishing herself as Secretary of the Risk Committee and a member of the Governance, Legal & Ethics Committee of the Board.

Again, she had previously served on the Regional Outreach Committee and the Educational Capacity Development and Research Committee (ECDR) of IoD-Gh, where she acted as Secretary and was charged with the responsibility of helping to develop an SME Mentorship programme. Under the umbrella of IoD-Gh, she was made Project Manager for the development of Ghana’s National Corporate Governance Code in 2022.

Dr. Rejoyce Foli, also a Project Management Advisor and Licensed Psychologist, has been heavily involved in advocacy for ESG/SDG initiatives. She is very passionate about grassroots, youth mobilization and development, supporting many SME initiatives, and serving as an advisor on governance, ESG, and SDGs to foster growth and innovation.

Dr. Rejoice W. Foli is a World Humanitarian Award-winning personality who has held several leadership positions on strategic platforms, including: Board Member – Women In Law and Development Africa Foundation (WILDAF), Board Member- Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), and Project Director with over 15 years of experience in UN/AU/EU sustainable community development initiatives within the Health, STEM, TVET, and Banking industries.

On the occasion of her reappointment to a second term on the IoD-Gh Governing Council, she is expected to leverage her extensive expertise and experience in shaping the future of IoD-Gh.

The other members of the IoD-Gh Governing Council are Mrs. Mary Asare-Yeboah, FIoD, President, Mr. Michael Justice Ashong, FIoD, Vice-President, with Mr. Ekow Peterson Afedzie, FIoD, Mr. Ekow Peterson Afedzie, FIoD, Mr. Herbert Lawson, MIoD, Kofi Asumadu-Apenteng, MIoD, Apostle (Dr.) Christopher Kwame Sokpor, MIoD, and Mr. Robert O. Mensah, MIoD, all members.
