Ghanaian musician Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru has expressed his admiration for former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and revealed his own political ambitions during a speech at the University of Ghana.

Guru hopes to serve under the United Nations, citing Annan’s legacy as an inspiration.

Kofi Annan’s achievements are truly impressive. As the first sub-Saharan African to be elected UN chief, he introduced reforms that made the UN more transparent and accountable. He also established the position of Deputy Secretary-General and reformed the management system to make it more efficient.

Speaking in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Entertainment Review, Guru expressed his desire to help humanity, inspired by the legacy of Kofi Annan, the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Guru’s aspirations align with Annan’s vision of promoting peace, human rights, and sustainable development globally.

Guru’s journey to make a positive impact began when he won the University of Ghana’s Students Representative Council (SRC) presidential election. His leadership skills and connection with the student body propelled him to victory.
