A 38-year-old Junior Secondary School teacher in Kabisimba, Chepalungu, Bomet County, Kenya, died mysteriously.

The instructor, who had lately found work in Nakuru County, was discovered dead inside the ceiling area of a toilet at his house.

The unexpected discovery was made early Tuesday morning, when the teacher’s wife, Nelly Bett, noticed his extended absence after leaving their home to use the restroom. She was heartbroken to discover his body hanging inside the toilet.

Local police, led by Chepalungu Sub-County Police Commander Phanton Analo, confirmed the occurrence. The teacher’s body had no evident injuries other than bruises on his lips, and no suicide note had been left behind.

This has left the motive unknown, and investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding his death.

The event has sent shockwaves through the local community and the school industry, with many recalling the teacher as a talented individual who was committed to his job.

Social media users have voiced alarm, with some blaming the incident on discontent within the teaching profession, citing long wait times for jobs and terrible working conditions.

This tragic occurrence follows another terrible case in Vihiga County, where a respected teacher, Madam Irene Imbuka, died in the shower while preparing for her husband’s funeral.
