Ghana Premier League sleeping-giants Hearts of Oak have an enviable statistics among all 18 clubs competing in the 2025/26 seasons.

The former African champions only concede a goal after every 257 minutes in the league (spanning around 2.85 games).

In contrast, the Phobians also possess the most unwanted record by any club in the season’s campaign despite temporarily sitting second on the log.

On Saturday, Mas-Ud Dramani’s side broke a 625-day scoring record by handing down a 3-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders at the Legon Sports Complex in Accra.

The victory enhanced the Phobians’ goal-scoring credibility in the league, however it still pecks them as the club with the second weakest attack in the league after matchday 20.

The 21-time league winners have only scored 15 times in 20 games, averaging 0.75 goal per game.

Clubs with attacking statistics worst than Hearts are only Samartex (6th), relegation-trapped Berekum Chelsea and bottom-placed Eleven Wonders who have each scored only 14 goals.

The positives smiling at the Phobians comes from their defences as opposition attacks have been able to penetrate their defence only 7 times in 20 outings.

They boast of the strongest defence in the league – led by skipper Kelvin Osei Asibey, the Phobians have conceded an average of 0.35 goals per game.
