The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment has announced the immediate suspension of the Central Management System (CMS) used by the National Service Authority (NSA) for the posting of service personnel.

This decision, the ministry said in a statement issued on Wednesday June 18, 2025, follows a directive from the Office of the President, citing the need to conduct a comprehensive technical and forensic review of the digital platform.

“This decisive step has been taken in the national interest,” the statement read.

“Measures are being put in place to ensure that the operations of the Authority are not disrupted. Alternative systems and verification procedures are being reviewed to maintain smooth and transparent service delivery,” the statement noted.

While the Ministry did not disclose specific details about the nature of the concerns, it emphasised that the process will be thorough and in the best interest of the public.
